The Rockstar Waste Services Ltd is conducting a new job recruitment exercise. The company seeks to engage the service of highly motivated, smart and hardworking individuals as Volunteers at our Takoradi Office, Western Region.

The successful applicants will provide general program support in the areas of marketing, human resources and general administrative tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be willing to learn and participate in orientation, training programs and meetings.
• Keep sensitive organizational information confidential.
• Comply with the policies and procedures of the organization.
• Be responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations.
• Developing measures to assure personnel safety.
• Correct unsafe acts or conditions through the regular line of authority.
• Exercise emergency authority to prevent or stop unsafe acts when immediate action is required.
• Maintain awareness of active and developing situations.
• Ensures there are safety messages in each Incident Action Plan.
• Participate in planning meetings to identify any health and safety concerns inherent in the operation’s daily work plan.
• Review the Incident Action Plan for safety implications.
• Investigate accidents that have occurred within incident areas.
• Ensure preparation and implementation of Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP).
• Provide backstopping support to the staff of the organisation
• Perform any other duties assigned by the General Manager of the organisation.

Professional Requirements

• Must have a minimum of a Diploma.
• Must be computer literate
• Must have good communication and presentation skills
• Must have good report writing skills
• Must be highly organized and pay attention to detail
• Must have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must stay in Sekondi Takoradi Metropolis
• Must have a passion to work
• Must be a team player
