The University Of Melbourne Scholarships for the 2023/2024 academic year is now open for application. This scholarship is available to outstanding international students to pursue master or doctoral degrees in Australia. The scholarship will be awarded to Approximately 600 students.

Requirements:
- Both Australians (domestic students)
and International student are eligible to apply - You must have submitted an application for and been accepted into a graduate research degree at the University of Melbourne, or be enrolled in a graduate research degree at the University of Melbourne.
- Masters degree applicants must have a bachelor’s degree at the time of application
- PhD applicants are equally to possess a relevant master’s degree certificate at the time of application
- Factors including refereed publications/articles, relevant professional experience, specialist medical qualifications or composition of original music may be get your applications to be considered
- Having a great research background and potential is a plus

Scholarship Benefits:
- Scholarship recipients will enjoy a full tuition reimbursement for up to two years for students pursuing a Masters degree and up to four years for students pursuing a doctorate degree.

For students pursuing a Masters by Research degree, the living allowance is $34,400 per year pro rata (2023 full-time study rate) for up to two years or up to 3.5 years for students pursuing a doctoral degree.

The living allowance is subject to annual indexation and includes limited paid sick, maternity, and parenting leave.
- Students migrating from other States or Territories in Australia besides Victoria will receive a $2000 relocation award, while students travelling from outside of Australia will receive a $3000 grant.
- For international students who need a student visa to study in Australia, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) Single Membership is available.
