Gates Scholarship 2025 in the USA

Once again, the The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, is here with it’s 2025 scholarship. This is a very competitive last-dollar grant. It is awarded each year to exceptional minority high school seniors from low-income families who are outstanding student leaders with the goal of assisting them in reaching their full potential.

Scholarship Standards:

To apply for this opportunity, you must be a high school senior
Must come from one of the following ethnicities: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native*, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American
It is mandatory for American Indians and Alaska Natives to provide proof of tribal enrollment
You should be be a US Citizen, national or permanent resident
Students should be planning to undertake a full time, four year bachelor’s degree program
Candidates should have good academic standings. It preferred that you be part of the top 10% of your graduating class
Have excellent standing academically, with at least a 3.3 cumulative weighted GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
You must demonstrate excellent leadership and exceptional personal success skills
