Illinois Wesleyan University Scholarships 2025

The Illinois Wesleyan University announces the opening of its scholarships portal. This opportunity is specifically dedicated to international students (ie. Those who are not US citizens or permanent residents).

The institution has two partially funded undergraduate sponsorships. There are the Merit-Based and the President’s bursaries. The merit-based option is offered automatically to academically outstanding learners who successfully complete their admission applications where as the President’s option is given to people based on their talents, interests and academic achievements.

Eligibility:

Students from all nations are allowed to apply
It is mandatory for applicants to be proficient in English
International students whose first language isn’t English need to present proof of English proficiency (Either TOEFL or IELTS scores)
International students must exhibit outstanding academic achievement and receive high scores on the required entry exams in order to be eligible for merit-based scholarships.
Highly accomplished overseas candidates are eligible to apply for President’s scholarships, which are awarded to successful recipients based on their remarkable abilities, interests, and academic achievements.
A minimum of fifteen (15) academic units in English, a foreign language, mathematics, laboratory science, and social science are required of all applicants. It is necessary to have a cumulative grade-point average of B or higher.

Privileges Of The Award

Merit-Based Scholarships

Recipients will receive between $16,000 to $30,000. It is renewable for a maximum of four years.

President’s Scholarships

This award is given to only two people to cater for their full tuition fees each year
For extra additional funding, you may submit your CSS Profile for consideration
Besides the merit grants, foreign students may be eligible for IWU funding, loans, and campus-employment opportunities for additional financial help which are renewable for up to four years.
