The University of Geneva through its Faculty of Science is offering Excellence Masters Fellowship awards to students including international students. From the first of January 2023, applicants would have the opportunity to submit their applications online for consideration.
The University of Geneva’s Faculty of Science has created an Excellence Fellowship Program in partnership with a number of sponsors to provide financial assistance to exceptional and highly motivated individuals who wish to pursue a Master of Science in any of the faculties’ academic specialties.

The scholarship is worth 10,000–15,000 CHF. If the candidate excels in the first semester, the award is extended for a year, up to the regular term of the chosen Master’s degree (three or four semesters).

- A scanned copy of your national identity card or passport.
- A Curriculum Vitae (2 pages maximum).
- The transcript of exams passed during the bachelor’s education
- a letter of motivation outlining your reasons for wanting to enroll in the University of Geneva’s Master of Science program as well as your specific scientific interests.
- If feasible, letters of recommendation from two instructors attesting to your suitability for this program (ideally sent by them directly to Excellence-Master-Sciences@unige.ch).
- any more relevant information, such as the GRE (General Requirements Exam), TOEFL, or other language test results.
