The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) is seeking dedicated National Service Personnel to join our dynamic Marketing and Communications Unit. Responsibilities:

As a National Service Personnel at the Marketing and Communications Unit, you will be involved in a variety of tasks to support the team’s efforts in enhancing the visibility and reputation of UGBS. Your responsibilities may include any of these fields:

  • Graphic Designing: Creating visually appealing and engaging graphics for various marketing materials, including brochures, posters, social media posts, and website banners.
  • Social Media Marketing: Assisting in managing UGBS’s social media accounts, devising social media campaigns, and crafting compelling content to increase the school’s online presence.
  • Content Writing: Developing well-crafted and persuasive content for newsletters, press releases, blog posts, and website updates that align with UGBS’s branding guidelines.
  • Photography and Videography: Capturing high-quality photographs and videos of campus events, workshops, seminars, and interviews to showcase the vibrant UGBS community.

Requirements:

To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Education: A final year student from a recognized institution. Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Journalism, or related fields is a bonus.
  • Skills: Demonstrable skills in one or more of the following areas:
    • Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) for creating visually appealing materials.
    • Knowledge of social media platforms, analytics, and social media management tools for executing effective campaigns.
    • Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to create engaging and error-free content.
    • Experience in photography and videography, including knowledge of editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
  • Creativity: A strong creative flair with the ability to think outside the box and propose innovative ideas to promote UGBS effectively.
  • Team Player: The role requires collaborating with various teams and stakeholders, so the ability to work harmoniously in a team-oriented environment is essential.
  • Time Management: Being well-organized and capable of managing multiple tasks within deadlines.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Duration and Benefits
