There is a vacancy at Gender & Safeguarding Intern At Mastercard Foundation.
Purpose of the role
To provide support in developing, mentoring, education, health, prevention of early pregnancy, personal safety, sustainable living, and growth in self-belief for gender programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and/or adaptation as well as the application of gender analysis tools to various programs at the country level.
- Support in coordinating the Gender and Safeguarding Community of Practice (CoP) platform for the Foundation’s partners and stakeholders at the country level.
- Support in identifying, documenting, and mobilizing gender and safeguarding-related insights and learnings from the Foundation’s current and future portfolio of work in the Country.
- Gender mainstreaming, safeguarding, program management, research, data analysis, monitoring and evaluation.
Minimum Requirements
- Candidates must be a resident of and residing in the country where the post is advertised.
- Minimum work experience 0-2 years.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to execute a range of job duties with changing priorities.
- Possess excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate information to a variety of constituents across cultures.
- Possess professional maturity, sensitivity to different cultures, and impeccable integrity that exemplify the Foundation’s values.
- Demonstrate a commitment to Mastercard Foundation’s values and vision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree: Social Sciences: Social Works, Psychology, Sociology.
Duration Of Internship
- 12 months
