This year, AKAYA is presenting its summer internship programme again. A three-month paid internship for female students enrolled in a Ghanaian university will begin in mid-July. In addition to carrying out their designated tasks and responsibilities for AKAYA, interns will participate in a rigorous mentoring programme and collaborate to propose a social action project.
This programme is only open to interested individuals who are willing to spend two to three months in administrative and other AKAYA Foundation-related positions and then afterwards interning with Remoteli as well.
Programme Objectives:
- To build experience in the respective internship roles on offer, thus, ensuring career readiness through the practical skills, knowledge, and confidence gained.
- To receive mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals in their respective fields.
- To provide an opportunity to contribute to AKAYA’s mission through meaningful project work.
- To develop crucial personal and professional skills that will contribute to the next generation of female leaders.
