The Kufuor Scholars Program (KSP) 2022 is currently open for applications. The Scholars Program is an initiative of former president John A. Kufuor’s Foundation. The initiative equips African youth with a three-year transformational leadership training curriculum.
The program targets Ghanaian university students in Level 100. The KSP aims to enhance formal education in order to generate leaders with a strong sense of patriotism who are also innovative, problem-solving, creative, and informed in their particular fields of endeavor.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for this program, applicants must have the following requirements:

Applicants must hold Ghanaian citizenship.

Candidates must be first year students in a Ghanaian university

Students of all academic disciplines are welcome to apply
- Have demonstrated interest and experience in leadership (e.g. be it in school, community or at the national level).
- At the time of application, applicants must be no older than 23 years old.
- You must be focused on being able to lead, being willing to serve, and having integrity.
- With a non-toxic nationalistic viewpoint, applicants must be capable of encouraging racial and ethnic harmony, human rights, and political and religious tolerance.

Ineligibility:
- Unfortunately, if you are in your second year (level 200) or higher, you do not qualify for this opportunity.

- Academic transcript
- Applicants below 18 years of age are to present a letter of approval from their parents
- One letter from a university lecturer and one from a community or civil society organizer or the director of a governmental or private agency attesting to the candidate’s abilities and leadership potential CV details

A poster presentation accompanied with a one-page concept note and a two-minute movie. Your video should include a brief introduction of yourself and a remark about previous leadership roles you’ve held.(The subject for the presentation is on the KSP website)
