Hubert H Humphrey Fellowship Program 2023/2024

The annual call for applications for the Hubert H Humphrey Fellowship Programme 2023/2024 academic year is now open. The Public Affairs Section of U.S. Mission Ghana is excited to make this announcement.

Through the exchange of the best practices and the development of knowledge in important areas, this Fellowship Program, a Fulbright exchange, improves leadership among international professionals. It offers a foundation for long-lasting, beneficial relationships between Americans and their international professional peers.

Eligibility Criteria:

Ghanaian nationals or permanent Ghanaian residents are eligible to apply for this program
Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree
You should have at least five (5) years of full-time working experience in the appropriate field (before August 2023)
Applicants must be healthy (You will need to present a medical history and examination report to prove it)
Candidates must demonstrate keen interest in the policy implications of their area of expertise.
You should have a proven record and ability to lead and a history of commitment to helping the public
You must have a high chance of getting a study leave from the your company
Candidate must be proficient in English

Ineligibility Criteria For The 2023/2024 Program – Hubert H Humphrey Fellowship

Ghanaian citizens who also have U.S. citizenship cannot take part in this program.
Candidates who are permanent residents of US cannot apply
Recent undergraduate graduants cannot apply
People who have spent more than six months in the U.S. in any way in the last five years before August 2024 are not eligible.
University lecturers and academic researchers with no management responsibilities are ineligible
People who have spent at least one academic year in a graduate program in the US during the last seven years before August 2024.
