Early Life of Chris Brown

At a young age, Brown was involved in his Church choir and other talent shows. Music had always been present in Brown’s life as he was often found listening to soul albums that were owned by his parents early in his childhood.

Often considering Michael Jackson as one of his biggest inspirations, Breezy taught himself to sing and dance at a young age.

His mother recognized his vocal talent upon hearing him mimicking an Usher performance of “My Way”. It was then after they started seeking an opportunity of a record deal.
At the age of 13, Hitmission Records discovered Chris Brown.

Hitmission ensured that a voice coach was provided for Chris Brown and with their help he arranged a demo package under his then stage name “C. Sizzle”.

By then Brown still sought for a record deal by making contacts in the New York.

Education and Professional Career

He was a student of Essex High School in Virginia until latter part of 2004 where he moved to New York in pursuance of his musical career.

Upon going through series of auditions Chris finally joined Jive Records in that same year 2004.

Brown released his debut album self-titled “Chris Brown” on November 29, 2005 which made it maiden appearance at number two on the Billboard 200 having 154,000 sales within the first week.

From then on Chris Brown has continued releasing series of works which have been well received globally and have made commercial successes as well.

These include Exclusive album which was released in 2007, graffiti and mixtapes which he worked on within 2009- 2010, the F.A.M.E album released in 2011, Fortune album released in 2012, X album released in 2014, Royalty released in 2015, Heartbreak on a Full Moon in 2017, Indigo in 2019 and Breezy which is his upcoming and tenth studio album set to be released on June 24, 2022. On 17th June, 2022 Chris Brown released his first single of the upcoming Breezy Album Call Me Everyday featuring one of Nigerian’s finest acts WizKid.
