Kyiriabosom claims men who marry only one wife die early

Christian Kwabena Andrews, also known as Osofo Kyiriabosom, is the Founder and Leader of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM). He has made controversial comments about marriage, arguing that the Bible does not require men to marry only one wife.

In his view, monogamy is the cause of many deaths among married men in Ghana. According to Osofo Kyiriabosom, if a man marries multiple wives, each wife will take good care of him, which can extend his life.

He suggests that if a man has only one wife, she may become jealous and take actions to shorten his life and inherit his property after he dies.

Osofo Kyiriabosom’s views on marriage have generated much discussion in Ghana, with some people agreeing with him and others strongly opposing his position. Additionally, his personal life has attracted attention, as he divorced his wife despite his advocacy for polygamy. This has caused confusion and controversy, with many people questioning the consistency of his beliefs and actions.
