Anas Aremeyaw Expresses His Disappointment With Court Ruling

Investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has been ordered by the Supreme Court to appear in court without his mask

Anas Aremeyaw Anas has lost a GHC25 million defamation suit against Kennedy Agyapong in the Accra High Court.

The court ruled in favor of Agyapong, who was called “a blackmailer, corrupt, an extortionist, and evil” by Justice Eric Baah.

Anas claimed that Agyapong accused him of murder in his documentary “Who Watches the Watchman,” but Anas refuted the allegations, stating that the documentary does not imply any murder committed by him.

Anas expressed disappointment with the court’s decision, describing it as a “travesty of justice” and unfair to him.

The case was assigned to Justice Eric Baah at the request of Agyapong. Throughout the trial, Agyapong showed contempt towards the court and Anas’s legal team.

Anas Aremeyaw followed up to air his disappointment on his page through a series of statements.

After all his statements, he concluded by stating that nonetheless Tiger Eye P.I remain committed to fighting corruption in Ghana.
