Job Descriptions:
Menu Creation & Development
- Design and develop a variety of pastries, desserts, and bread items for the bakery menu, ensuring a balance of flavours, creativity, and presentation.
Quality Control
- Maintain high standards of quality in all baked goods by overseeing the preparation, baking, and finishing processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes.
Inventory Management
- Manage ingredient inventory, including ordering, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste while ensuring fresh and high-quality supplies are always available.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of bakers and pastry assistants, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
Health & Safety Compliance
- Ensure the bakery adheres to all health and safety regulations, including cleanliness, food storage, and workplace safety protocols.

Requisites:
- Diploma/HND/degree or Certification in pastry arts, baking, or a related culinary field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen, with a strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of skills and creativity.
- Exceptional attention to detail in the creation and presentation of baked goods, with a focus on quality, taste, and aesthetics.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current pastry and dessert trends, including techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles, with a willingness to innovate and experiment.
