An Electrical Technician is wanted at Melcom, Spintex Mall branch. They are seeking to hire a detail oriented, dedicated, selfless and efficient individuals to take up the job.
Functions Melcom Ghana’s Electrical Technician:
As the handler of the title, you will be responsible for the following works:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Diagnose electrical malfunctions by inspecting electrical systems, circuits, and components, using esting equipment like multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Upgrade and modify electrical systems to meet code requirements, improve efficiency, or accommodate new technology andequipment.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local and national electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices, maintaining a safe work environment.

Education & Experience:
- Certification in electrical technology or a related field from a recognized technical institution.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands -on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Familiarity with local and national electrical codes, as well as safety regulations, ensuring all work is compliant.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
