Job Description:
- Support, mentor, oversee and line manage a large team
- Work closely and promote close working relationships between contractors, technical
- teams and all other departments.
- Ensure contracted staff adhere to Company policies and procedures
- Lead in technical meetings on site, and report updates to the General Manager
- Advise and assist the General Manager on budgetary matters relating to the site operations

- Frequently visit the O’Grantson communities projects to maintain contact with site teams
- and provide support and guidance
- Liaise with key stakeholders and design teams as appropriate/where necessary.
- Work with the procurement and site managers in the development of supply chain
- processes
- Assist and provide guidance in identifying and mitigating the risks associated with any
- project
- Identify and authorise equipment needs
- Assist in the development of procedures/processes where applicable to support
- contractors and site teams in the delivery of projects.
- Ensure a consistent approach to delivery on all work streams and projects
- Manage the allocation of projects to contractor and site teams and ensure appropriate
- labour is available
- Ensure unallocated resource costs are recorded correctly
- Establish the requirement for additional resource and recruit where appropriate within the
- constraints of the business budgets
- Develop best Health, Safety and Environment practices within the company
- Contribute towards the effective running of the transportation fleet with the transport
- manager
- Working hand-in-hand with the Project Manager (PM) to make sure there is efficient
- allocation of resources
- Enhance the commercial value of the business.
- Meet project budgets through assessing and analysing operational and financial risks that
- may be encountered in the execution of planned construction projects.
Minimum Experience And Qualification:
- 5-10 years of experience managing large teams
- Demonstrable evidence of experience of a similar senior management role based within
- construction
- Demonstratable evidence of the building and implementation of successful systems
- Experience in the management and development of multiple teams to achieve successful
- completion of projects and continued growth within the industry
- Knowledge and awareness of issues that may affect the budgetary control and timely
- completion of construction projects.
- Knowledge of health, safety and environmental safety requirements within the industry.
- Demonstrable ability to present and manage project plans for construction projects.
- Understanding of financial management controls.
- Computer literate with knowledge of the Microsoft Office packages.
- Valid Ghana Driving license
