Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill a vacancy in the post of Director, Department of Estates Management in the Parliamentary Service of Ghana.
Job Summary:
To provide strategic direction towards the attainment of the objectives of the Department of Budget.

Responsibilities:
The Director, Department of Estates Manngement shall:
- Manage, maintain and keep and inventory of all records on properties and other assets belonging to the
Parliamentary: Service, Oversee lense management, including capital, rental and rating valuation of landed
property - Make proposals to the Chief Executive on the allocation of office and tenantable residential accommodation to officers of the Service and Members of Parliament.
- Ensure residential accommodations are in tenantable state prior to allocation.
- Manage the daily operations of the estate including staff schedules, upkeep, and bookings.
- Supervise all grounds and house stalf and providing training, day-to-day feedback, and performance reviews
- Prepare a budget for the department for incorporation into the annual budget of the institution
- Conduct performance appraisal for staff of the Department.
- Lead the process of developing and implementing departmental strategic plans to be factored into Strategic Plan of the institution, Ensure safety and health practices in the Department
- Maintain a positive working relationship among staff of the Department and other Departments within the institution
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned
Qualification/Experience
- A good first degree in Land Economy, Architecture, Building Technology. Estate Manngement, Engineering, or a relevant discipline from a recognised university with
a minimum of ten (10) years post qualification experience and a Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least five (S) years in a senior manngement position in a
Public Service institution
OR
- A good First degree and Master’s Architecture, Building. Engineering, degree in Land Economy, Technology, Estate Management, or a relevant discipline with at least five (5) years post Master’s degree qualification experience in a senior management position in a Public Service institution
- Applicant shall be a member in good standing of a recognised professional body in the related field
Age Limit
Applicants should not be above fifty (50) years of age by the date of appointment to post
