36-year-old Peter Huche from Southlea Park who is a robbery suspect was due to appear before the Magistrate for his robbery case. He was arrested in Chivhu, Zimbabwe by the CID after being accused of robbery.
Peter was apprehended in Chivhu after fleeing from Harare, where he committed the crime. He since then been in police custody, awaiting his court hearing in Chitungwiza.
The specifics of the robbery he was involved in have not been disclosed by the police. While in a holding cell, the robbery suspect managed to break free with what the police believe was a bolt cutter used on his steel bars. He escaped from the building, and efforts to locate him were unsuccessful.

Currently, the suspect is still on the loose, and the police is actively working to find him. The Judicial Service Commission Secretary has also informed the public that a comprehensive investigation into the incident is currently underway.
