Ghanaian Pentecost Church in South Africa Robbed

The Ghanaian High Commission in South Africa has confirmed a troubling incident involving a Ghanaian Pentecost church in Johannesburg, South Africa.

During a live church service, suspected robbers armed with guns robbed raided the Pentecost church and robbed the members and kidnapped a deacon.

As of now, the whereabouts of the church deacon remain unknown. The incident occurred on Sunday, October 29, 2023. This has raised concerns and prompted actions from Ghana’s High Commission in South Africa.

In a notice issued on October 30, 2023, the High Commission expressed its commitment to ensuring the swift and secure release of the victim. They are collaborating with South African law enforcement agencies to achieve this goal.

The High Commission urged the Ghanaian community in South Africa to take necessary precautions to safeguard their safety and well-being. This unfortunate event underscores the importance of community support and the need for vigilance in the face of such incidents.
