Tunisia to be replaced with Mali at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. According to a Statement released by FIFA, the Mali national team may go for the World Cup at the detriment of Tunisia; that is if the Tunisian team is suspended.
Why This Suddenly Development?
The statement comes after Kamel Deguiche, the minister of youth and sports in Tunisia’s hint on the potential dissolution of the “Federal Bureaux”.
The remark made by the Tunisian government is seen as interference with domestic football in the eyes of the world football regulatory body.

FIFA has thus asked the nation to clarify the statement made by the minister as soon as possible or they run the risk of attracting a penalty which is missing this year’s World Cup.
