The so-called “glow bath” technique involves the gradual application of numerous supposedly natural chemicals to the body in order to achieve noticeably lighter skin.
This pregnant woman, despite being extremely vulnerable, underwent skin-lightening “surgery” as certain people refer to.
The video of a heavily pregnant woman who underwent chemical bleaching despite her situation has been met with a range of reactions on social media.
Also in other news, the Bank of Ghana has cautioned the public against taking loans from some 19 unlicensed financial institutions. BoG claims that the actions of these unlicensed parties violate data protection and privacy regulations and fail to meet consumer protection obligations.
