Why The Sudden Increment?
According to the aforementioned association, most packaged water enterprises are unable to purchase sufficient supplies, and others are also unable to withstand working capital losses of 45% as a result of the new plastic film and preform pricing released by the Ghana Plastic Manufacturers Association (GPMA).
Hence, the association is forced to raise prices in order to support the viability of packaged water companies.
