As they exit the programme, the minister stated, the current cohort on the program is urged to use the YouStart initiative and other existing programs to aid in the effort of building an entrepreneurial nation.

Details of the YouStart Initiative

YouStart is an initiative that will lead to more jobs in the country. With the YouStart Initiative, Ghana may end its unemployment problem.

Trainees who are about to leave the NABCO Scheme but have an interest in starting their own business can benefit greatly from a more focused approach and encouragement to do so through YouStart.

With the implementation of the NABCo YouStart Initiative, 1 million jobs will be created. In order to alleviate the country’s youth unemployment problem, the government seeks to put appropriate measures in place to create 300,000 new businesses owners.
