Mzbel Hints Potential Collaboration With Burna Boy
In an exclusive interview with Amelley Djosu on Joy Prime’s Celeb Biz show, Mzbel revealed her ongoing conversations with both Burna Boy and Don Jazzy regarding possible features in her upcoming projects. She exudes confidence that these collaborations are on the horizon, stating, “Hopefully, it’s 70/30 from the way it looks now. So, something from Nigeria and Mzbel may come out soon.”
After Mzbel spoke on hints of potential collaboration with Burna Boy, she went on to address some issues.
During the interview, Mzbel also shed light on the challenges faced by female artists in the Ghanaian music industry. She pointed out the reluctance of Ghanaian female artists to engage in collaborations, even in a predominantly male-dominated industry.
Mzbel shared her own experiences of failed attempts to collaborate with other female artists, citing their tendency to back out after expressing initial interest. She contrasted this with the readiness of male artists to participate in collaborative projects.
Despite these challenges, the “Asibolanga” hitmaker remains optimistic about the future of female artists in the industry. She believes that by fostering a more open and collaborative environment similar to their male counterparts, female singers can unlock their full potential and thrive in the music industry.
