In an exclusive interaction with Amelley Djosu on Joy Prime’s Celeb Biz show, Mzbel uncovered rolling talks with both Burna Boy and Don Jazzy on possible features in her upcoming projects. “Hopefully, it’s 70/30 from the way it looks now. So, something from Nigeria and Mzbel may come out soon”, she confindently stated.
Aftwards the “16 years” hitmaker went ahead to tackle some issues. Mzbel laid bear some things female artists in Ghana go through. In her opiniom, most female artists usually hesitate when it comes to teaming up in industries that are male-dominated.
Mzbel dealt with her experiences with unsuccessful partnerships with fellow female artists. She observed their tendency to withdraw even after previously showing interest. Male artists, on the other hand, were more willing to engage in collaborative projects.
With all these coming into play, the “Asibolanga” singer is positive about the future of female artists in the industry. She is of the view that creating a welcoming atmosphere, similar to that of their male counterparts, can empower female singers to reach the pinnacle of their abilities and flourish in the music industry.
