A new open position is available at Adjaye Associates. They are looking for a Project Manager (Resourcing and Bids).
Essential Duties:
Resources Management
- Work with Project Directors to accurately assess resource needs and use CMAP (training would be provided) to support the assigning of available staff to projects based on their skills and experience.
- Support the Management Team in developing departmental-wide capacity analysis and strategy and provide recommendations for hiring/mobility decisions.
- Engage Senior Leadership Team to understand priorities and review department-wide resource utilization and trends.
- Lead quarterly reviews of capacity analysis and identify opportunities to better utilize talent across regions and business lines.
- Monitor employee utilization, workload, and overtime hours to ensure fair balance and workload for resources on projects.
- Mitigate resource concerns by reallocating resources, adjusting goals, or assigning additional staff.
- Collaborate on resource management with internal departments.
- Document processes (e.g. weekly utilization report, etc.).
- Work with the Finance Department to provide information on project profitability, fees and rate build ups.
- Assist project managers with the allocation of personnel to projects, monitor the utilization of employees assigned to projects and coordinate resource management with other departments.
Certification:
Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to handle a variety of tasks in an efficient manner.
- 5+ years of experience in Bids / Resources Management / Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Architecture
- Experience with successful on-set client interaction and key creative collaboration.
- Track record of successfully delivering high-quality data in a rapidly changing environment.
- Proven history in leadership and mentorship.
- Strong comprehension of the concepts, practices, and procedures used in Project management of resources and bidding processes.
- Must be highly computer literate with Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and diplomacy skills.
