There are new exciting Roles Available at Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet). The Agency seeks to recruit suitably qualified persons into the undermentioned positions to provide leadership, technical and operational direction in the dispensation of the mandate of the Agency.
Available Positions:
- Provides legal advice on the operations of GMet
- Liaises with the Attorney-General’s department and other stakeholders for the preparation and review of legal documents relating to GMet’s mandate
- Represents GMet on matters that may be brought before the courts of law
- Collaborates with other Directorates of the Agency to ensure compliance with laws, rules and regulations

2. Deputy Director-General (Operations)
- Ensures the provision of reliable, timely and relevant weather information and forecast
- Exercises oversight responsibility for the engineering and technical support services of GMet
- Ensures that research and product development activities of GMet are effectively carried out
- Ensures the establishment of a network of observing stations and the processing of data Manages the technical operations of GMet

3. Deputy Director-General (Support Services
- Coordinates plans to ensure the availability of resources (human, materials and finances) to support the activities of GMet Coordinates the development and implementation of policies related to general services of GMet Submits reports on the activities of the division
- Designs and maintains reliable internal control systems to safeguard GMet’s resources
- Designs frameworks for partnerships with Public and Private sector stakeholders
