Arla Foods Ghana have an exciting vacancy to join the team as a Sales Manager. You should either based in Ghana or flexible to relocate within the West African region if necessary, as well as having the ability to travel 70% of the West African region.

The Role:

  • Plans, directs and monitors the activities of a sales team within a specified geography, product  line or market segment to achieve established sales targets.
  • Develops sales plans, activities and campaigns and manages the day-to-day activities of a sales team in order to implement the organisation’s overall sales strategy for a channel, an assigned geography, product line, market segment, a list of customer accounts or distributors
  • Prepares sales forecasts and budgets.
  • Monitors sales volume, revenue and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas.

Background:

  • 4-7 years of experience within a similar environment (An FMCG background would be advantageous but not essential).
  • Educated to a Bachelor’s level (master’s degree is desirable)
  • Demonstrated achievement in export sales and business development
  • Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
  • Skilled in MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point
  • An expert in understanding the sales market and trends
  • Analytical skills and an aptitude for figures
  • Excellent negotiator
