There is a new employment option at NokNok Groceries. The company is recruiting a hardworking and responsible Procurement/Supply Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains the stock coverage level per SKU and warehouse while maximizing the profitability of the inventory flow
- Provides for stock management on an ongoing basis, studies consumption trends based on the sales figures, and recommends optimal procurement cycle (quantities, frequencies, etc.)
- Sets orders and receipt schedules per brand per vendor
- Follows-up with vendors on timely delivery
- Communicates and follows-up return orders
- Coordinates with the category manager to fulfill promotional deals
- Collects products and vendors data needed by the system and the APP, and creates item codes and various modifications in a timely manner
- Creates purchase and return orders on the system and communicates to vendors
- Liaises with the warehouse controller regarding schedules, quantities, stock-related and delivery topics
- Proposes and fulfills plans to reduce existing over-stock
- Finds alternative sources when vendors are out of stock
- Manages the short-shelf-life products and inventory
- Supports the technical department to come up with joint objectives
- Coordinates with accounting on the payables for imports and local vendors
- Handles the supply chain of freight and clearance when importing
- Sorts out discrepancies and claims with imports vendors
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
2 to 5 years experience as a demand planner or supply chain (preferably FMCG or retail)
