BET Awards 2023: Full List of Nominees

On Thursday, the list of nominees for this 2023, this year’s BET Awards was released. On June 25th, 2023, the 23rd annual BET Awards will be held to recognize excellence in music, sports, television, and film. The event will take place in Los Angeles, USA. The host and location have not been disclosed.

Drake topped the nominees with seven total nods, including best male hip-hop artist, album of the year, and best male R&B/pop artist.

In the category for Viewer’s Choice: Best New International Act, there was a nomination for Camido, the sugarcane hitmaker from Ghana. A number of other well-known African artists, such as Nigeria’s Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tems Ayra Star, Asake, and South Africa’s K.O., were also nominated for awards.

Nominees were chosen by members of the BET Voting Academy, an esteemed group of professionals from the fields of music, media, digital marketing, sports journalism, public relations, and the creative arts.

The BET Awards 2023 will air live on BET on Sunday, June 25 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
