The KNUST Diploma in Education (Sandwich) Programme for the 2022/2023 academic year is currently open. The Faculty of Educational Studies and the College of Art and Built Environment have launched a 3-semester Diploma in Education (Sandwich) program.
This program is intended for individual who have genuine interest in teaching Junior/Senior High School subjects.
Entry Requirements For KNUST Diploma in Education (Sandwich) Programme for 2022/2023
The following people can apply to the Diploma in Education program:
- Students accepted into undergraduate programs at KNUST are eligible to apply. (Students currently studying at KNUST)
- Continuing students with a CWA of 50.0 at the end of their first year can apply
- Programs of study must correspond to courses taught in Senior High Schools and other pre-tertiary institutions, such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, French, Geography, and History, among others.
- Candidates who meet the criteria in (l), (2), and (3) must additionally adhere to any additional conditions or requirements that the Faculty of Educational Studies Board may prescribe.
Mode of Delivery:
The curriculum will be offered in a hybrid style (face-to-face and online) during three (3) lengthy vacations divided into three (3) blocks, as follows:
- Block One – Year 1 Long Vacation
- Block Two – Year 2 Long Vacation
- Block Three – Year 3 Long Vacation

Other Important Details:
- The KNUST application e-voucher must be purchased at Ghana Post outlets for GH240.00
- Applications that are not correctly and completely filled out at the time of submission will not be processed or taken into consideration.
- Tuition and residential accommodation would be included in the admission fee.
