Who Qualifies to the Next Stage: Real Madrid or Manchester City? 

Manchester City, from the first leg, hold a narrow advantage after a 4-3 victory at Etihad Stadium. 

Real Madrid have won the Champions League 13 times and La Liga this season.

On May 28, Liverpool will face the winner of today’s semi final contest in Paris to play the Champions League Finals.

The first leg game was an incredible contest which ended 4-3 in favor of Manchester City. 

The first leg sensationally started with 2-0 in favor of City after 11 minutes, thanks to goals from Kevin de Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus. Karim Benzema, however, pulled one back after 33 minutes to hinder city’s hope of becoming European champions for the first time.

Second-half goals came from Phil Foden who gave Manchester City a 3-1 lead, but Vinicius Jr. equalized two minutes later.

Bernardo Silva’s goal added up and gave City their two-goal lead, but Karim Benzema’s chipped “Panenka” penalty late in the game restored a bit of parity. It ended up 4-3 in favor of Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
