Do you use MTN MoMo, Telecel, Airteltigo Cash for transactions but find it hard to transfer money to another network? Worry no more as we will give you detailed steps on how to do so.
The sole purpose of the introduction of the Mobile Money Interoperability system by the Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement Systems (GhIPSS) is to allow cash exchange across different networks.
This essentially means that funds can be transferred between networks without the use of third-party applications.
Before this operation was introduced, there was the need of using services like Move, AlexPay, Korba, etc to facilitate remittance.
Today, all service providers are currently using the MOMO Interoperability system. This means that we don’t need an agent to wire transfers between these networks.
Note: Before you begin the steps below, you should make sure you have an active MTN SIM card inserted in your phone with the amount you would like to send on it.
