The Ghana Black Stars will play their World Cup opener today. President Akufo-Addo, ahead of the Ghana opener, decided to Fly to Qatar to Motivate Black Stars.
Before the opener the opening match with Portugal, the President is scheduled to meet with the coaching staff and players to rally their support for the upcoming contest.
South Korea, Portugal, and Uruguay are the playing in group H with the Black Stars.
Expectations are high for Thursday’s match between Ghana and Portugal, as the latter is one of the sides picked by experts to advance out of Ghana’s group and into the round of 16.
A lot of people are looking forward to the Ghana vs. Portugal game, and maybe the President’s presence will be a good omen for the Black Stars when they take on Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal.
Ghana vs Portugal will be played is scheduled to play today at 4:00 pm GMT at the Stadium 974 (Rass Abou Aboud).
Also, supporters hope to see a performance of vengeance, at the very least, against Uruguay this World Cup.
