MEXT APU Japanese Government Scholarship For 2023

Here is the MEXT APU Japanese Government Scholarship For the 2023 academic year. The scholarship is available for students from MEXT designated regions.

Additionally, this Japanese government is meant for students who intend to pursue either master’s and doctoral programs. The scholarship goes to Asia Pacific University-recommended international students. The Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) is the sponsor of this scholarship.

Requirements

Applicant must be a citizen of a MEXT-designated nation
Applicants must apply for a program at APU to be considered for the scholarship
You must have been born on April 2, 1988 or later
You should also have plans to study in Japan
Student must be able to get to Japan within the time frame set by Asia Pacific University (APU).
Candidate must have earned a GPA of at least 2.30 on a 3.00 scale at their most recent university
You will have to provide proof of your proficiency in English
The English Proficiency Test score must be valid for at least two years. Only scores from tests taken on or after March 24, 2021, will be accepted.
People who are in the military or civilians who work for the military at the time of the application are not eligible.

Benefits

The scholarship will cover the full cost of your admission fee
Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of 144,000 JPY (amount subject to change)
Tuition will be paid in full (covered by the APU Tuition Reduction Scholarship)
At the start and completion of the program, successful applicants will enjoy an economy flight travel between the home nation and APU
