Standards:
- Should be a citizen of one of the eligible territories
- After your scholarship ends, you must be willing to return to your home country for at least two (2) years
- Candidates must have at least
2,800 hours/2 years of work experience since graduation from undergraduate
- Hold an undergraduate degree that is eligible to pursue a masters degree programme in the UK
- You must have an unconditional offer letter onto to least one of the following courses

Grounds For Disqualification:
You are not qualified if you are/have:
- Previously studied in the UK on a government funding
- A British or dual British citizenship (excluding citizens from British Overseas territories or BN(O) and are applying from Hong Kong)
- A refugee status in a country that’s not allowed in this application (Nonetheless, you can get the award if you are a citizen of a nation that qualifies and you are registered as a refugee in another country that qualifies.)
- an employee, former employee, or relative of a worker of the UK government, British Embassies/High Commissions, the British Council, the Association of Commonwealth Universities, or sponsoring UK universities. Worker, former staff, or relatives* of a staff of the scheme’s Partner organisations are eligible to apply, but if the employment took place within the last two years, you cannot receive an award from the organisation from which you work, previously worked, or are affiliated with through relatives.
