Amy Schneider is an American engineering manager and also a contestant in a game show. She was born on May 29, 1979.She is popularly known for her 40-game winning streak in the quiz show Jeorpardy. She attended Chaminade-Julienne High. She was voted by her classmates as the most likely to appear on Jeopardy.

Amy disclosed that during her school and college times people tagged her transexual despite she having her outer appearance being that of a male at the time. It is also known that she faced similar challenges during the growing stages of her life but now she’s come out all confident and she has come to accept herself and her body. She has proved despite all social stigma directed towards her that what matters most is the knowledge she possesses and not her appearance.
Amy has revealed that before her surgery she had an appearance which was that of man’s of which at the time she was discriminated due to her sexuality. Since she’s not so much of a media person not much detail is known about her past days.

Schneider holds the record for having the 2nd longest winning streak in the program’s history. Her first victory occurred on the 17th of November 2021 after she dethroned 5-day champion Andrew He. In the following 14 games she participated, Amy only missed one Final Jeopardy! Question. She is known to have made $1 million out of the show which makes her only the 5th highest earner from the show. She was also the first openly transgender contestant to win the show.
Amy got beaten on the episode of Jeopardy! aired on January 26, 2022. This marked the end her 40 consecutive winning streak.
