Users no longer need to login in and out of their WhatsApp accounts across devices as the social platform now supports multiple device logins.
Users can now connect additional phones to their primary smartphone in addition to other types of devices using the multi-device capability.
Everything you send or receive; including calls, texts, photographs, videos, and audio recordings is encrypted from end to beginning.
After more than three years in development, WhatsApp officially rolled out this feature in 2022.
Today, a maximum of five devices, including the primary phone, can use WhatsApp at the same time. Check here for how to link your WhatsApp account to four devices (Android and iOS).
WhatsApp boss, Mark Zuckerberg has also confirmed the release of this feature for all supported devices.
The multiple device login function also enables and supports business owners to respond to clients from their personal phones via the company’s WhatsApp account.
After 14 days of inactivity on the primary device, all secondary devices will be logged out.
WhatsApp hopes to expand to more platforms in the near future.
