WhatsApp users are no longer limited to just one device when using their WhatsApp accounts; up to four can be linked at once.

How to link your WhatsApp to a device (Android and iOS)
Launch WhatsApp on the computer/web client you’ll be using to join devices. A QR code appears, which can be read by your primary phone. For best results , it is recommended you update your device to the most recent version of WhatsApp.
Android
- Lunch WhatsApp on your primary phone
- Select More options > Linked devices > Link a device.
- Unlock your primary phone:
- Follow the on-screen prompts if your smartphone supports biometric authentication.
- Your phone’s usual unlock PIN will be required if you haven’t enabled biometric authentication.
- In order to scan the QR code, you must direct your primary phone’s camera at the display of the gadget you wish to connect.
iOS
- Launch WhatsApp on your mobile device.
- In WhatsApp, select Settings > Linked Devices.
- To connect an device, select link a device
- If you’re running iOS 14 or later and want to unlock your iPhone:
- Unlock with Touch ID or Face ID.
- You will be asked to enter your phone’s unlock PIN if biometric authentication is not enabled.
- A QR code can be scanned by pointing your iPhone towards the display of the gadget you wish to connect.
