Just two weeks after another 20% price rise, the management of VIP JEOUN Transport Service has increased fares on the Accra-Kumasi route by 20%.
On Monday morning, a ticket from Kumasi to Accra was selling for GH120 as opposed to the previous GHC100 two weeks ago and GH80, the previous three weeks.
The VIP JEOUN Transport Service, consisting of private individual bus owners who have banded together under the brand name VIP Jeoun, raised prices by 20% two weeks ago on Monday, October 24, 2022, citing the rising cost of gasoline and replacement parts (Spare parts).
