VIP increases Accra-Kumasi fares to GHC 120

VIP Transport Update of New Prices February 2022

In the wake of a harsh economic crisis which has seen a persistent increase in fuel costs, VIP Jeoun has again increased their Accra-Kumasi fare from GHC100 to GHC 120.

Just two weeks after another 20% price rise, the management of VIP JEOUN Transport Service has increased fares on the Accra-Kumasi route by 20%.

On Monday morning, a ticket from Kumasi to Accra was selling for GH120 as opposed to the previous GHC100 two weeks ago and GH80, the previous three weeks.

The VIP JEOUN Transport Service, consisting of private individual bus owners who have banded together under the brand name VIP Jeoun, raised prices by 20% two weeks ago on Monday, October 24, 2022, citing the rising cost of gasoline and replacement parts (Spare parts).

Some commuters from Kumasi to Accra showed up at the Neoplan station [VIP station] in Asafo on Monday morning, November 7, 2022, only to be informed that the fare from Kumasi to Accra is now GHC 120 starting this morning.

The founder and leader of Shining Grace Chapel International, Prophet Isaac Appiah, popularly known as Great Azuka, has said that he helped the Black Stars to qualify for the World Cup.

Contrary to claims that his prophecy regarding the Black Stars failed, the tough-talking man of God claims that he actually assisted the team in defeating Nigeria in the playoffs.

He revealed that his first prophecy changed, which he corrected, but people did not discuss the second prophecy on how Ghana can qualify.

VIP increases fares to GHC 120, Accra-Kumasi travelers are complaining bitterly as this new variation does not sit well with them.
