Nana Appiah Mensah, also known as NAM 1, the embattled CEO of the now-defunct gold dealership Menzgold, has urged consumers to buy a GHC650 Menzgold Digital Verification Access Card to validate their transactions in order to get paid.
A statement from NAM 1 states that the verification card will allow “customers who believe they have genuine indebted transaction claims, to check the status of their transaction.”
From August 10th, 2023, through September 14th, 2023, customers of the defunct gold-dealership who seek to claim their transactions are invited to upload original colored soft copies of their transactions supporting papers.
According to the statement from Nam 1, this process is quite essential because over sixty percent (60%) of the claims they have received were fraught with unacceptable infractions which invalidate the MenzGold claims in question.
This, as stated by the CEO, will allow the company to check out their debtors thoroughly before making any payments to them.
A word of warning was also sent in the statement to customers who choose not to go through the authentication process.
It was emphasized that customers who don’t go through this procedure may lose whatever claims they think they have because they’ve renounced their right to a claim by not fulfilling their commitment.
