Sad news reaching the public domain has it that the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs has asked all NABCO trainees under the ministry to go home.
It can be recalled that the NABCO trainees were relieved after their program ended in October last year, 2021.
The Government then gave a directive for the trainees to stay at post with the assurance that they will be retained.
But Despite assurances from the government that they would be retained, NABCO Trainees Under the Chieftaincy Ministry have all been Asked to Vacate their posts.
Why NABCO Trainees have been Asked to go Home
The Minister in a directive to the various heads and registrars of agencies under him asked that the trainees are relieved Because the programme ended in October last year.

NABCO was introduced by the Akufo-Addo led administration in 2017 as part of measures to address graduate unemployment in the country. The initiative was run under seven modules namely Educate Ghana, Heal Ghana, Feed Ghana, Revenue Ghana, Digitize Ghana, Enterprise Ghana, and Civic Ghana. Today, the good news received that after the three year term, NABCO beneficiaries are now going to get an extra year to serve the nation and secure jobs.
