A tragic incident occurred at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) where a level 200 Industrial Arts student reportedly lost his life. The student allegedly fell from the fourth floor of the Ultimate hostel, formerly known as Evandy-Bomso, after attempting to jump from one balcony to another. The deceased was allegedly smoking with his friends in the room and in attempt to escape arrest the tragedy occurred. The school reported the news of the student’s death on its portals, and it has left many in shock.

According to the Voice of KNUST, the student was confirmed dead after performing a rather dangerous stunt. The police are presently investigating the situation, and there has been video footage of the student’s fall circulating on social media. We decided not to upload it here for a few reasons. This incident is a sobering reminder of the risks involved in attempting such dangerous acts.
