Caution on Fraudulent Activities and Scam

The GAF also issued a strong caution to the public against fraudulent recruitment messages circulating on social media platforms, including WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram. The Armed Forces emphasized that such messages are fake and should be disregarded, stressing that no officer or member of the High Command issues direct invitations to candidates.

Instead, all official information regarding the ongoing exercise has been published in state-owned newspapers such as the Daily Graphic and Ghanaian Times.

The Armed Forces further appealed to the public to assist in safeguarding the integrity of the recruitment process, reiterating that transparency remains central to its operations.

Conclusion

The annual recruitment exercise is widely regarded as one of the most competitive avenues for young Ghanaians aspiring to serve in the military. Officials have therefore urged applicants to rely strictly on verified and official channels to avoid falling victim to fraudulent schemes.
