The Foundation of Haven Led by AnnaSix has expressed love to a nursing home located at Asante Bekwai in the Ashanti Region.
The team led by Miss. Anna Nsiah (AnnaSix), visited Destitute Nursing Home on Saturday, January 22, 2022 and donated to the patients various items to help improve their living conditions.
Destitute Nursing Home is one of the nursing homes built by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah in Asante Bekwai to cater for homeless, ageless and rejected men and women in the whole of West Africa. The Nursing home constantly recieves funds and aid from the government but like any other nursing or orphanage home, they are not enough to support all the patients. In extreme cases, some of the caretakers of these patients, have to commune funds to compliment the basic needs of their patients.
Foundation of haven presented items which included; Medical items, washing and bathing soaps, stationary, toiletries, bags of rice, cooking oil, soft drinks, lunch packs, biscuits, sugar, bread, toothpastes among others as a token of their love.
The leader of the team, AnnaSix, after handing over the items, stated that, the donation was part of the foundation’s vision to give back to society in order to care for the vulnerable.
The administrators who accepted the items on behalf of the nursing home expressed their profound gratitude to the team led by AnnaSix for the gifts and also pledged that the items would be used for the very purpose for which it was received.
Some of the patients present also expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the remembrance and love shown to them.
