SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION
The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring and managing the Housekeeping Department in order to ensure the highest standards of upkeep, hygiene and cleanliness of the Resort, including all Guest rooms, public area, food & beverage outlets, banquet facilities and back of the house,
QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Hospitality- Similar field
- Certificate in Hotel Management.
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a housekeeping senior management position Preferably in a three to five star hotel or resort
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong management skills and ability to inspire others.
- Experience in revenue management would be an advantage
- Analytical and problem-solving skills and execution of work
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the Housekeeping Department by developing and implementing departmental objectives in line with the resort business objectives.
- Supervise housekeeping operations such as cleaning and maintenance whilst ensuring compliance with all housekeeping policies, procedures, standards and satisfaction of guests’ needs.
- Inspect all areas and take corrective measures in order to meet Aqua Safari Standards in terms of cleanliness, maintenance and supply.
- Develop, implement and continually review the policies, procedures, practices and standards.
