An Environmental Scientist is urgently needed at Aqua Safari. We are looking for a detail oriented and highly motivated individual to occupy this position.
SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION
The functionary shall bear the onerous responsibility of managing the day-to-day operational and organizational standards of the Environment Department, which includes but not limited to developing and overseeing environment protection strategies, undertaking administrative tasks and reports writing.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bsc. in Environmental Science or its equivalent.
Experience:
- A minimum of three (3) years working experience; working experience in the hospitality industry will be an added advantage.
- Ability to conduct field surveys.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data in accordance with legal regulations.
- Ability to identify potential contaminant sources
- Ability to design plans and programmes aimed at fixing environmental challenges.
- Indepth knowledge in going green practices.
- Passion for working with flora and fauna. Organizational and leadership skills.
- Professional competencies in IT.
