David Atuahene, Ghanaian student in Europe recently got awarded by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT-FOOD) for his project having an “Excellent Entrepreneurial Potential” in Europe.
David, the proud awardee taking Ghana to the top, is a Product of KNUST (2018 batch of graduates) and Aggrey Memorial SHS in Ghana.
He got into the European institute of Innovation and Technology scholarship scheme fully funded by the European Union in 2019 to further his studies in Master’s level.
He was one of 3 Ghanaians in this big scholarship scheme.
Mr Atuahene, on the 1st of October 2021 David was invited to share his project with experts from the European Union at a ceremony organized in Leuven, Belgium.
His work was aimed at fighting Brain cognitive disorders such as Bipolar, depression, Autism, Parkinson’s disease and many more using a novel nutrigenetic approach.
His commitment and determination for this work finally paid off as he put Ghana on the map by his great presentation about his project work which was live streamed.
Mr. David Atuahene is the first Ghanaian and African to win such an award.
