Kumawood actress, Christiana Awuni has beckoned on Ghanaians to bring back ex-president John Dramani Mahama in 2024.
“The difficulty in the nation has forced us to discuss the economics even though no one has paid us to criticize this government,” the actress said.
Reasons she thinks Ghanaians must bring back Mahama
Ghana’s current economic crisis has been compared by actress Christiana Awuni to a dump for trash.
She notes that the nation is at a crossroads and emphasizes that John Dramani Mahama’s return to Ghana is the best way to solve its problems.
Christiana Awuni thinks the former President did fantastic work while in office to improve the lives of Ghanaians, so it’s critical that he be restored to that position.
‘Times are tough. I’m not going to lie. Because of God’s Grace and the fact that I take good care of myself, I look this nice. It is obvious that times are tough, though. Now that conditions have gotten worse, the only thing I can compare Ghana’s economy to is a garbage dump.
“Since things were better than they are now when John Mahama was in office, we ought to try to bring him back. Only the devil will claim that Mahama did not perform well during his time as president.”
If Mahama was that good, why was he booted out of Office?
In 2016, the then sitting President, John Mahama suffered a massive defeat to the NPP’S Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, as most Ghanaians were not pleased with his governance.
Christiana Awuni comes to join numerous citizens who are calling for Mahama’s comeback. But we seem to forget one question, if we were so pleased with Mahama back then, why did we boot him out from office with a near one million gap?
The actress tried her best to answer the question by stating this:
“We felt we needed someone to make it best, but they have descended,” Christiana Awuni said. They are bad and indigent. I won’t mince words: It’s not good, the system is hot.”
