Elorm Ababio, a social media influencer, popularly known as Ama Governor has faced a second rejection to join the Ghana Bar.
Last year, the General Legal Council investigated her conduct due to misconduct seen in widely circulated videos. The Council allowed her to reapply after considering her behaviour.
However, the council recently declined her application after monitoring her actions, sparking discussions on eligibility criteria for the Bar.
In a letter dated March 13, 2023, the Council informed Elorm that her public behavior played a significant role in the rejection.
While the specific concerns weren’t disclosed, her public actions and statements were seen as problematic.
