A 27-year-old young man, identified as Mbawin Haruna, also referred to as SIM 2, has purportedly beheaded his 60-year-old grandmother, Yaa Asanaba, near Akrodie in the Ahafo Region.
This occurred at approximately 7 a.m on November 22, 2023, as documented by Kumasi-based Hello FM.
The motive behind Haruna’s gruesome act is not clear, although there was a disagreement between him and his grandmother before this happened.
The lifeless body of Yaa Asanaba has been transferred to the Goaso Government Hospital mortuary, where it awaits an autopsy.
